Trafalgar Square and Street Artists
Even on a grey November day there is something to see. The eyes in this drawing are worth a second look.
.
“They seek him here, they seek him there, His clothes are loud, but never square.
It will make or break him so he’s got to buy the best, ‘Cause he’s a dedicated follower of fashion”.
This one has been here for a long time.
There was an event on, so I couldn’t get a shot of the whole square. Here are some samples.
.
Nelson’s column is 170 ft tall. In it’s time that was impressive.
As for what follows, sometimes it’s best not to ask.
Some wonderful pictures Graham. I am always on the look out for good street art. I always like those people who sit suspended for hours, I wonder if they are doing themselves a lot of physical damage. Great post!

Thank you. I was there to go to the National Gallery. It was a nice surprise to see what was happening outside. 🙂

Thanks for that and I’m glad they make you smile. It helps to know that there are good things in life worth fighting for, and people who create them, like the street artists. 🙂 Thanks again. 🙂

Hi Barabara,
I came across this. “The world;s first female pavement artist”. I thought you might like it.

I am glad you enjoyed. It took at least two hours for the artist to get that far. A real labour of love. One of those happy chances that I happened to be there and see it. 🙂

Oh how marvelous! The face on the pavement is arresting. Yoda is always appropriate anywhere, anytime. What fun there is to be had in a London day!
PS- I know birds are most appreciative of all the statues we create for them to sit and s*** on!
(I am oh so bad!)

Do you know what happens to girls who get put on Santa’s naughty list ?
You do. It’s worse than I thought. 🙂
